窯の改造から始まった今年初めての窯。
お天気に恵まれた2月15日の日曜日に、窯出しを行いました。
初めて雑木だけで燃焼させた作品は、今までにない微妙な色合いを醸し出してくれました。

Entry写真集「2009年2月 窯焚き」 | Photos, 1st kiln-combustion of 2009

新しく改造した窯で、2月4日から8日にかけての5昼夜、今年初めての窯焚きを行いました。
幸いにも期間中は好天に恵まれ、雑木だけで行った燃焼でも概ね問題なく温度をコントロールできました。
燃えさかる窯と格闘する私たちと、それを包む夜のアトリエの静寂を、スライドショーでご覧くださいませ。

1100度前後で焚き続けた窯の温度が100度ほどまで冷めるのを待って、15日に窯出しを行う予定です。
